200 hr Yoga Teacher Training - Thailand!
If you have not read the first Welcome Packet, please do so before reading on. If you have any questions or comments, please ask your Program Director, Randi Schiffman by email.
Training Flow - During your 25 day training, there will be 3 cycles of 7 days. Throughout the training we incorporate the wisdom of the Chakana, using the 3 worlds (Lower, Middle & Upper) from Shamanic teachings and traditions of the Native Americans of the Andean Mountains to heal our wounds and shadows so we can step into the journey of our own souls and manifest the beauty of our dreams into existence. The flow of the training is as follows (subject to change):
September 6th: Arrival and Dinner/Opening Circle 6pm
September 7th - 13th - Lower World, Serpent
September 14th - Day Off
September 15th - 21st - Middle World, Puma
September 22nd - Day Off
September 23rd - 29th - Upper World, Condor
September 30th - Closing Yoga Ceremony and Departure Day
Days Off – You can visit the spa on site or experience the peace and tranquility of an unspoiled island bay with excellent swimming, snorkeling and relaxation facilities.
You can also walk to Why Nam Beach and Haad Yuan Beach – along with Haad Tien, these 3 bays make up our small community. Why Nam is very small and peaceful, with just one bungalow resort and a restaurant. Haad Yuan is more developed, and great for swimming. We encourage you to walk, explore, and enjoy everything our 3 bays has to offer!
The beach is kept clean and we all endeavor to take care of ecological waste and, through cooperation, keep this bay very special for all of our visitors and long term residents. In addition to providing a family-type atmosphere, it is a unique place in a fast-changing world.
Theft within the Bay is practically unknown as access is limited to boats, or a stiff jungle walk.
Daily Schedule -
Please visit our Daily Schedule page for more information.
Sick Days/Missed Classes - Full participation is required to complete the program. Any hours missed will require communication with a facilitator and an action plan as to how hours can be completed. If additional facilitator time is required to work with a student to make up hours, an additional cost of $50 per hour will incur.
Review Homework and Certification Requirements - At the end of the course, you will receive your 200-hr Yoga Teacher Certification.
