Feed your soul

Let your highest self expand into the magic of Lake Atitlan

Immerse yourself in the magic of the forest, realize your inner stillness and access the wisdom that resides deep in your heart and soul.  Feel embraced by incredible natural beauty and the power of the elements, as we uncover the true teacher within.

Our Guatemala 300-hr YTT explores a fusion of the practice and philosophy of the mystical traditions of Yoga, Shamanism, Ancient Wisdom, Tantra and Sound Healing. Step into the ancient Wisdom of Self (Vidya), as we journey through the Shamanic Worlds, experiencing Yoga as union with the Divine.

Come join us and awaken the power of your spirit while living in a conscious living community overlooking the incredible Lake Atitlan, in the western highlands of Guatemala. Majestic mountain scenery and mystical lake serenity create a profound transformative energy deep within the soul.  The simple living and permaculture principles of the Yoga Forest complement our studies, as we learn how to take our yoga off the mat and into our lives.

What you’ll love about the Yoga Forest...

The Yoga Forest was founded as a sustainable living experiment, through a desire for living simply, greenly and in communion with everything surrounding us.

In yoga practice, we clear the body and mind making space for wisdom and deeper understanding to flow freely and openly. In making space, we allow ourselves to experience our fullness and connection to everything around us. Yoga is therefore about cultivating flow through the body and mind and opening up to optimal experience - union.

Permaculture follows the same principles. In Permaculture, we are essentially making space for the wisdom of the entire system to fully flow, to become a more open and thriving container for life. Permaculture teaches us to observe the natural environment and work with rather than against the natural order of flow. Thus, in Permaculture we are also cultivating union. Through the Yoga of Permaculture, we are facilitating the experience of Yoga as deep ecology – by allowing the ecosystem, and ourselves within that system, to demonstrate their own evolution.

Immerse yourself in an eco-friendly conscious community for a month of transformation. Enjoy the perfect sub-tropical climate in the western highlands of Guatemala, with stunning views through the Yoga Forest taking in Lake Atitlan and its magnificent volcanoes. Let your body and mind come into a tranquil balance among mystical scenery and powerful energies.

What you'll love about the Kula Collective 300-hour Training…

The Kula Collective 300-hour training is a transformational journey to your highest self, to understand your true essence as a teacher, healer and a part of All That Is. This course is a deep-dive immersion that provides tools to deepen your practice and sharpen your spirit, cleansing away that which no longer serves and creating space to manifest that which does. This is a self-purification to connect with the deep, intuitive and creative part of yourself, inspiring you to step onto your mat as a teacher from your most aligned and luminous state of being.

The Kula Collective 300-hour training provides a deep immersion into the practice of yoga - living, learning and embracing all aspects of a yogic lifestyle and deepening the connection to oneself and the earth through the wisdom of shamanic healing practices. These traditions, designed to grant us access to the infinite wisdom we carry within, are smoothly blended together to form a holistic offering rooted in the Indian philosophy of yoga.

Kula Collective's 300hr YTT focuses on honing in on your essence as a teacher; following your greatest excitement towards the cultivation of your unique gifts. Through the expansion of your own sacred consciousness and the full embodiment of your practice we support you to radiate the teachings of yoga in your own powerful and distinct way.

Our classes are held in beautiful and inspiring spaces and led with open and informative guidance that encourages interaction and group participation. We spend the day communicating from the heart, discovering new parts of ourselves and the world, and expressing the Guru within.

Mornings start by going deep into advanced practice, with expert sequencing drawn from asana, pranayama, meditation, bhakti and worldwide spiritual, energetic and movement practices. Our days center around your own self-discovery, healing and spiritual advancement, through  comprehensive discussions on yogic philosophy, ancient wisdom and mystical teachings; complementary healing practices such as Ayurveda, energetic healing and shamanic healing and interactive workshops that refine and break down the techniques and artistry of holistic yoga teaching.

Throughout our time together we engage in self-inquiry to clear space for the true teacher within. From the beginning we offer personalized attention to support you as you let go of past stories and draw out your wisdom and passions, helping you to identify your most aligned essence as a teacher and practitioner. Interspersed throughout the days and evenings, we create sacred space for sharing and celebrate our connection through Bhakti Yoga. We meditate as we breathe, bend, dance and laugh our way through our experience. We allow our practice to be a ceremony each time. We live this practice. And in doing so, we do not just share Yoga, We Embody Yoga. Every day is constructed with care and attention to offer a way of experiencing each one of the Four Arts as a part of the whole… the Art of Yoga.

We bow to the inner guru who knows what calls you, and give thanks to the wisdom that is yet to be revealed.

The Kula Collective 200-hour YTT provides you with concrete tools and clear strategies to live your life with passion and purpose. Perhaps you’re wondering if it’s really worth your time, money and effort to become Yoga Alliance certified as a 300-hour registered yoga teacher (RYT-500).
