200 HR Yoga Teacher Training: Spirit Journey
August 7 - 31, 2020
~ Let your spirit soar in the majesty of the Sacred Valley ~
Surrounded by the wisdom of the Sacred Apus (ancient mountains) and cleansing rivers, we peel away the layers of our shadows, understanding our passions to reveal our true authentic purpose. Here, in the heart of the Sacred Valley, we find a powerful space for opening and moving our hearts, supported by local healers and the deep wisdom of this earth. Moving through the three worlds of the Chakana in its homeland, we identify and connect with our root creative selves, our passions, and our dharma (our life path).
At our RYT-200 Yoga Teacher Training in Peru, we wake with the mountain sun, taking time to absorb the magnificence of the surroundings, breathe deeply, move slowly... and connect to the ancient wisdom of this land. Through exploring our own selves and uncovering the whispers of our spirit, we empower ourselves to live our passions and our deeper purpose here on this Earth.
The wisdom of this land runs in the people, the way of life and in the plants themselves, and this training calls on this ancient knowledge as a symbiotic guide through the path of Yoga. With ancient monuments and sacred sites marking vortices of energy in the land, this ancient knowledge flows here as a symbiotic guide through the path of Yoga.
Our location in the high Andes provides a unique opportunity to be in nature, amongst people who have lived in much the same way for thousands of years. The Sacred Valley of Peru has long been sought out as one of the most powerful energetic centers in the world. With many hikes in the surrounding area, ancient sacred sites, as well as traditional towns such as Urubamba and Pisac accessible nearby, visitors will find it easy to connect with the spirit of Peru. Through diving deep within to heal our own selves, we radiate the change and peace we wish to share in this world.

Meet your Facilitators…
Kylie began practicing yoga over 15 years ago while living in Colorado. She is dedicated to cultivate yoga as a tool for students to empower their journey inwards and embrace the present moment. She studied in the yoga capital of the world, Rishikesh, India and after training with an Iyengar certified teacher for 5 months she began stepping into the role of a facilitator.
Her instruction includes close attention to proper alignment with props and hands-on adjustments, and deepening the pose in order to reach ‘ah-ha’ moments. With breath based movement, her classes are taught to provoke mental and physical challenges to enable students to reach a blissful integrated awareness, acceptance and ability. Kylie is known to weave intentional Mantra music with her well-traveled ukulele. She hopes to inspire and share all the amazing gifts she has learned along her transformative yogic journey!
Kylie is the Director of Expansion for the Kula Collective and she helps keep the Kula fractal growing by supporting the Kula Ambassador, Dharma and Kula Path programs.
Sanni shares her lifework through holistic movement, meditation and energy work. Born and raised in Finland, she has a deep connection with nature and a heartfelt passion to function in a greater harmony with the web of life. A world traveler and devoted yogini her work with holistic health is inspired by many colorful indigenous cultures and traditions she has experienced.
Having reflected the teachings of different traditions, schools, tribes and rituals, and at the same time witnessing the idea of separation in the world between people and nature led her to dedicate her whole life to serve a greater unity and wholeness both individually and collectively.
With her dharma, Sanni encourages people to dive deep into the secrets of their beings, experience their True Self and step into their purest power as creators of life. She has a university degree in Sport and Health Sciences concentrated on holistic health aspect of yoga and dance.
Over the years, she has been guided to study holistic health through yoga (500 RYT), shamanic and spiritual practices, intuitive dance and drumming, metaphysical studies, breath work and meditation training, Reiki energy work (levels I-III), Tibetan regression therapy, Permaculture, Nutritional Herbalism as well as Neuro-Lymphatic and Abdominal Massage touching all physical, emotional, mental and energetic layers of body. However, after becoming aware of the illusionary complexity of our beings she witnessed herself coming the full circle and embodying the simple and ultimate truth of being one with all within and without.

The Kula Collective 200-hour training provides a deep immersion into the practice of yoga - living, learning and embracing all aspects of a yogic lifestyle and deepening the connection to oneself and the earth through the wisdom of shamanic healing practices. These traditions, designed to grant us access to the infinite wisdom we carry within, are smoothly blended together to form a holistic offering rooted in the Indian philosophy of yoga.
Kula Collective's 200hr YTT focuses on the expansion of our own sacred consciousness, so that we can fully embody our practice and radiate the teachings of yoga by united in mind, body and spirit. All of our programs meet Yoga Alliance standards for teaching methodology, anatomy, yogic theory and special education. This course will provide a solid foundation of yoga history, the four traditional paths, 8 limbs of ashtanga yoga, meditation and exploration of asana through our signature Kula Flow and its asana analysis.
After learning the Kula Flow we deepen our understanding of Self through study of yoga philosophy, cleansing, Bhakti Yoga and ceremony. We share creative teaching methodology for designing balanced and holistic classes, using the Kula Signature Sequences as building blocks and providing support for new teachers to creatively sequence their own classes. The course will give multiple opportunities for participants to teach and receive feedback, so that they leave with not only a fully prepared sequence, but multiple shorter sequences and a plethora of inspiration ready to create from the heart.
The Kula Collective 200-hour YTT provides you with concrete tools and clear strategies to live your life with passion and purpose. Perhaps you’re wondering if it’s really worth your time, money and effort to become Yoga Alliance certified as a 200-hour registered yoga teacher (RYT). We understand how you feel; this path is not an easy one, yet we’ve found that even those who have no plans of actually teaching Yoga have come away deeply transformed by this experience, with crystal clarity on steps they can take to manifest their dreams into reality.
Throughout our time together we engage in self-inquiry to clear space for the true teacher within to shine. By releasing the stories and holdings that no longer serve us, we create more space in our bodies and mind to see our gifts, our passions and the essence of who we are as beings on a path to holistic, connected living.
This training will provide a strong foundation in yogic practice and philosophy, and a fresh perspective on life. Its an opportunity to cultivate a practice if you do not have one and to deepen your existing practice if you do. Journey Through the Three Worlds of the Chakana...
Each of our training programs have been carefully designed to incorporate 200 intensive hours, as detailed by the Yoga Alliance, using the Kula Collective signature structure of the Chakana. The Andean Cross allows a transformative journey through the lower, middle and upper worlds of this ancient tradition, allowing us to explore the many levels of our being.
Beginning with the Lower World, we Explore our unconscious and physical abilities and limitations, recognizing and breaking through self-created boundaries and limiting beliefs. By releasing what no longer serves us, we create more space in the body and mind through the cultivation of awareness and the understanding of the roots of yoga, anatomy, foundational practices and selfless service. Throughout this cycle we will practice and learn in depth the poses and sequencing of our Kula Basic Flow, with daily opportunity to teach to peers and receive feedback.
In the Middle World, we Empower discovering more of who we are, through experiencing elemental awareness and self inquiry, allowing us to embody the teachings and live to our full potential. After teaching their first full yoga class, participants dive deeper into the work of Patanjali's Ashtanga (8 limbs) philosophy, applied anatomy, philosophy, pranayama, ayurveda and chakras, deepening understanding of our true nature and evoking a strong love for the self and each other.
From our work in the Lower and Middle worlds, we experience a sense of freedom in the Upper World as we Expand, shifting from gross to more subtle realms of consciousness, letting us step into our radiant power. With topics such as complementary holistic health practices, yoga sutras in depth, and the profession of yoga, we close our training with a clear personal practice and teaching plan, fueled with inspiration to grow our gifts and manifest our dreams into reality.
