Getting Ready: Health, Practice & Essentials

  • This form must be filled out within 7 days of registering for your course. This is required for your attendance.

  • Please let us know us know if you have any dietary restrictions and we will do best to accommodate.

You can send us an email in regard!

  • We recommend you begin the process of preparing your body by eating fresh foods that are organic and alkaline-forming such as fruits and vegetables that are high in nutrients. You may also want to begin limiting your consumption of meat, dairy products, salt, sugar, alcohol and caffeine in the months leading up to the training. Drink water as often as possible and begin to listen to and notice any changes in your body’s responses to this purification process.

As we are cleansing the body from the inside out, you may also want to consider the effects of cleansing from the outside-in. This is a perfect opportunity to look at the products you are using on your skin, hair and scalp to determine the safety or toxicity of them.

A helpful website you can consult for products (such as sunscreen or bug spray) that you may be packing for the trip.  The cleansing and fasting is not a required part of this training.  It is only offered as an additional way in which you can create more space for more light in your life and in your practice.

If you have any questions about cleansing, please reach out to your facilitator.

We recommend each student purchase travel and medical insurance for their time away. If you are not able to check in with your local broker, we recommend World Nomads Travel Insurance since they offer flexible plans and allow you to purchase insurance while you are out of the country.

  • Guatemala is a beautiful country, from the people to the culture to the landscapes, offering amazing experiences to any traveler. Safety is as much a consideration here as in any developing country you may visit or in any touristed area where economic disparity exists. If it will be your first time to Guatemala, or you are a concerned traveler, we always recommend private transport for peace of mind.  If you arrive after 4pm, we recommend you stay in the city or Antigua and travel the next day.

While traveling and when visiting towns and villages, we advise mindfulness. Don’t flash expensive devices or carry large amounts of cash. Theft tends to be petty and opportunistic. Take care with your valuables and lock them away safely. During your stay, security is provided on the property as well as secure storage for valuables. Avoid walking alone on Sundays and in the evenings whenever possible.

  • The local currency is US Dollar (USD).

  • Water: We will provide fresh and clean drinking water during our time together.

Immersion Weekend Meals: We will be providing three nutritious meals a day, with teas and snacks in between. Please remember that we do not offer caffeine during this course. This allows for cleansing of the body and mind to bring us into a clearer space. If you drink coffee or other caffeines on a daily basis, I recommend you begin to lower that consumption now. You are welcome to bring snacks for yourself, and we have cabinet space for those. We have less space in the fridge so please try and keep your snacks to non-perishable items.

Internet: There is limited internet access at Seven Springs. We highly encourage you to disconnect to reconnect! Please be prepared to only check your email/networks on occasion.
