β€œThe Art of Practice is the true Yoga - for no matter how much we study,
an ounce of practice is worth a ton of theory.”

Swami Sivananda Saraswati - Sadhana Tattwa (Spiritual Instructions)

Here at Kula Collective, we truly believe in the adage - 'never teach anything you do not know' - and it is only through the direct experience of yoga that we truly, deeply understand it. Thus, all of our trainings are built upon the essential foundation that is the Art of Practice. By immersing yourself in a yogic lifestyle and sampling multiple forms of yoga and spiritual technique, you gather all you need to build a daily personal practice that gives you direct connection to the truest guru of all - the wisdom and experience you hold within yourself.

All Kula Collective trainings place emphasis on the experiential face of yoga through living your practice - whether online or in person, you are encouraged and supported to build a daily meditation practice as well as an inquisitive and consistent connection to asana and pranayama.

Experience what it means to wake in silence and meditate as the sun rises, flowing into an internal experience of Holistic Yoga that unites mantra, pranayama, mudra, bandha and unique, holistic sequencing. Build discipline and strength in body and mind as you surrender into the practice each day. Develop your own personal spiritual understanding through self-inquiry and mindfulness practices. Experience creative sequencing from a variety of traditions, including Hatha, Ashtanga, Yin, Restorative and Kundalini, deepening your personal practice through Meditation, Pranayama and Asana and even freeform Dance.

More than this, each of our trainings bring the practice off the mat and into our lives. We follow the yogic, vegetarian diet, purifying from the inside out.  We adopt conscious communication practice with ourselves and others. We observe our mind and retrain our thoughts away from old destructive patterns. We connect in authentic relating and experience what it is to live in a conscious way. We eat our meals with reverence and we open and close our space with Om, the Universal Sound. We meditate as we breathe, walk, dance and laugh our way through our experience and we allow our practice to be a ceremony each time.

We live this practice.  And in doing so we do not just learn to share yoga.. we embody yoga.
