The Energy Grid of Mother Earth: Using Chakras and Vortexes to Enhance Spiritual Growth

chakras blog post jill lacasse

Calling all spiritual junkies!

You may know about the chakras in the human body … but did you know that Mother Earth also has her own set of chakras and energy flowing throughout her body? As we become more connected to our energy channels, we can start to feel the effect that the Earth’s energy has on our inner journey and growth.

So what are chakras?

Chakras are centers of spiritual power normally found in the human body, and usually focus on seven main channels. Mother Earth also has these chakras, where energy spirals and flows and can actually magnify the energy correlated to the human body’s chakras. Your electromagnetic field becomes aligned with the frequency of the chakra point you are in and can help you heal any imbalances you have within your spiritual centers(!!).

Chakra points are usually located where volcanoes or Earth active areas reside, due to their rich crystal deposits, electromagnetic volcanic material and increased ormus. Everyone experiences the Earth’s chakra energy differently, some people more sensitive than others.

These energetically aligned places can magnify any energy or beliefs that are out of alignment with your natural self so that you can integrate them and become more aligned with your true self. This integration can be through both painful and positive experiences.

And what about vortexes?

Along with chakras, vortexes can reflect the full range of possibilities for humans to align and expand into their spiritually highest selves. They reflect the ‘higher self’ frequencies of your body and energetic field.

Vortexes are points where energy spirals and flows up and out. They are intense points that can amplify any emotion you experience and can link you to the stage of energy that aligns best with your present state of being. They connect with Mother Earth’s chakra points, working together as Earth’s energetic grid.

How can this intense energy benefit you during your yoga teacher training?

You can dive deeper into your spiritual journey and use the Earth’s energies to tune into yourself and your practice. You can find balance, groundedness, joy, peace and harmony through listening to the light within you and around you to gain deeper insight into your deeper self.

So how can you experience the Earth’s energy field with Kula?

Kula has offerings in some of these highly energetic places to take your inner journey to the next level.

Sacral Chakra – Peru

Peru is the place to feel deeply connected to your sacral energy center. This is our sexual energy that is connected to our relationships, doubting intuition, expressing our emotions and feelings, and creativity. If you feel ruled by your emotions, feeling stuck in a feeling or mood, or feel dependent on substances or others, you may be out of balance in this energetic center. Physical imbalances can include menstrual problems, lower back issues, sexual dysfunction and hip problems. Maybe Peru is calling your name to bring your sexual energy back into alignment!

Vortexes – Arizona, Bali, Guatemala & Mexico

Arizona

Sedona, Arizona is considered the highest frequency location in the Western Hemisphere, and helps to balance the energy grid of the entire planet. Sedona can help you positively heal by confronting you with your emotions and helping bring you into awareness about how your past can shape your present and future self.

Bali

The Island of Bali is an energy vortex that is also the location of the Earth’s Kundalini energy, formed in its two large ley lines (aka. alignment of land forms that are places of ancient religious significance or culture, believed to have spiritual significance) which intersect and have great power and energy.

These two ley lines also intersect in Peru as well.  Again, this intense energy can give rise to spiritual growth and power when one is in tune with Nature. This center is thought to purify the blood of the Earth, and can reflect the cleansing and rejuvenation of our soul and bodies as well.

Guatemala

This is also a vortex point in the Earth, and can help with the awakening of the mind, body and soul. Guatemala can intensify the emotions in our heart, and help us get deeper connected with ourselves and those around us.

Mexico

Mexico is the home of the El Tule Tree, one of the world’s largest trees. Mexico is also where the Earth’s Kundalini energy lives and begins. It is a vortex and is thought to be where the feminine and masculine energies of the Earth are balanced … helping us to balance out our busy and masculine-energy motivated lives by slowing down and listening to the creative feminine energy within.

So I encourage you to listen to your inner guide and determine where your energy needs to be restored and aligned in order for you to achieve your highest self and to dive deeper into your yoga practice, both on and off the mat.

Peace & Love,

Jill
